Teachers' Circle Maths P6

Teachers’ Circle is a series of books written  in accordance with  the  latest MOE syllabus.  Each  book  comprises  revision  papers  with  questions  and  passages carefully selected by teachers to:

  • Familiarise pupils with the examination format.

  • Provide timely revision for major school examinations and assessments.

  • Reinforce and help pupils master mathematical concepts often tested during examinations.

  • Increase pupils’ awareness of alternative problem-solving strategies.

  • Arm pupils with skills required to solve non-routine problems with heuristics.

Focus Page – an annotated section with Comprehensive marking of sample pupils’ work on selected questions.

  • Consists of challenging and tricky questions carefully selected by teachers.

  • Detailed marking by teacher to demonstrate proper presentation skills required to score maximum marks.

  • Highlight common mistakes made by pupils so that they can avoid making the same errors.

  • Provide alternative solutions where appropriate so that pupils are exposed to the different problem-solving strategies.

Detailed solutions provided for all questions aim to provide a step-by-step guide for pupils to learn and master skills in solving problems. This also enables them to meet the expectations required of them in their examinations.

Detailed marking scheme by teachers is also provided online. Teacher’s remarks in detailed solutions are included for selected questions to highlight effi cient problem-solving processes for pupils to achieve mastery in these areas.\

Revision Papers provide the most practical and constructive timely practices for improving pupils’ performance and competence at solving problems correctly and efficiently under examination conditions.
